The objectives of this training:
· Discover the factors that make for healthy family relationships
· Learn the major reasons for sibling rivalry and how they are different when there is a foster sibling. Techniques and strategies for dealing with sibling rivalry will be discussed.
· Learn strategies for discussing the fostering experience with the caregiver’s biological children and learn ways to determine the effect that fostering has on these children.
· Explore the effects on biological children when their foster sibling leaves their home.
